A Point Formula is the number of points awarded per dollar spent. The most common point formula in business rewards programs is one point per dollar spent, meaning if a customer spends $100, they receive 100 points. However, you can set the Point Formula to award more than 1 point/$1 spent or less than 1 point/$1 spent. If your business sells high ticket items, you could reward 0.3 points/$1. Likewise, if your business sells low ticket items, you could reward 2 points/$1.
